Starter options

  • Hummus (GF, Vegan): Mediterranean inspired dip with chickpeas and tahini.
  • Cheese Truffles (GF, Vegetarian): Goat cheese, Boursin and prune truffles topped with walnuts and coarse pepper.
  • Soutzoukakia: Oblong meatballs with fresh parsley, cumin and a touch of cinnamon, baked in a rich tomato sauce. Falafel for vegetarian and vegan guests.
  • Tzatziki (GF, Vegetarian): Free range Greek style yoghurt dip with garlic, cucumber and extra virgin olive oil.
  • Htipiti (GF, Vegetarian): Medium to high spiced dip with roasted red peppers and feta cheese.

Main options

  • Pork with Prunes (GF): Slow cooked pork fillet in wine, brandy, cream, garlic, onion and thyme sauce, served with mashed potatoes.
  • Hunkiar Beyendi: The emperor's favourite dish: slow cooked beef stew on aubergine and béchamel purée.
  • Vegan Mousaka (Vegan): Layers of potato and aubergine with a lentil, mushroom and vegetable 'bolognaise', topped with vegan béchamel.
  • Christmas Chicken (GF): Cooked with onions, garlic, paprika, figs, prunes, apricots, sultanas, honey and parsley. Served with rice or mashed potatoes.

Dessert options

  • Baklava (Vegan): Crisp fyllo pastry layered with chopped nuts and fragrant spiced syrup.
  • Orange Cake (Vegetarian): Traditional Greek orange cake with ice cream and chocolate sauce.
  • Ekmek Kadaifi (Vegetarian): Kataifi pastry soaked in syrup, layered with custard cream, whipped cream and crushed nuts.
